Users Waiting For Group Access

Some people have joined CivMil.org using email address from domains like AOL and gMail; while this is perfectly acceptable, it will slow the process of approval for group subscriptions. The proces typically takes less than 24 hours, but due to the increasing interest in some of the groups on the site it will require follow-up if we do not recognize your username and email. If you are a CivMil member and are waiting for a group subscription request to be approved please contact me via the email function of this site. Please make it easy on everyone and provide additional details as required.

Verify status
Please let me know my status as relates to the message. We are following the unmanned aircraft systems working group efforts in connection with Golden Phoenix. Does this require additional approval?

Easy Way To Check Group Memberships
My apologies, I should have been clearer in the original post:
The only people who need take action on this request are those who have waited more than 24 hours to gain approval for a group subscription. In particular, this applies to the Golden Phoenix and GP Communications Groups as they require admin approval.
The easiest way to verify your group memberships is to login and click on the link in the left sidebar near the top that says "My account" - That page will list the groups for which you are a member.
